MAWTT - Fairies and Fantasy

Hello... good morning! I hope you are all safe and well in this awful windy weather!! and there was me thinking that Spring had finally arrived! LOL  it's time for a brand new challenge over at

This week it's the turn of Team A... and the lovely Kelly is our hostess.... she has chosen the wonderful theme of....

'Fairies and Fantasy'

So we would like to see projects with Fairies, Wizards, Unicorns... or anything magical etc.
I can't wait to see all your fab creations for this theme...

Our sponsor ... Rick St Dennis very kindly gave us a wonderful selection of images to choose from... and I chose this gorgeous image 'Unicorn'I'm having another go at putting flowers on my cards... I'm not very good at arranging them but then I thought.. if I don't practice then I won't get any better!! :-)

Papers: Prima - 'Fairy Belle'
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts and Stash
Die: Memory Box - Pepita Border
Pearls: from Stash
Sentiment: made on computer using Giddy Up Font (LOL)

I have coloured the Unicorn with Copics and Promarkers...

We are sponsored this week by the wonderful

who is very kindly donating a prize of 3 digi images from instore for this week's winner!

I hope you can hop on over to MAWTT for more details of the challenge and you can see my Teamies wonderful creations - Ooh you don't want to miss them this week... they are all so fab!!!

I would like to enter the following Challenges:-

The Squirrel and The Fox - 'Inspired by a Song or Movie'
(The Unicorn Song by The Irish Rovers)
Dream Valley - 'Happy Birthday'
Inky Chicks - 'Happy Birthday Girl'
Fab'n Funky 1,2,3 - '1 Image, 2 DP and 3 Embellies'
(my 3 embellies are Flowers, Pearls and Die Cut)
Oldie but a Goodie - 'Make it Girly'
(my Orange flowers are some I found from old stash +6 months)

I hope I have entered the above challenges correctly... this card was made to be a girly card... but if the challenges require a girl image - then please feel free to delete my entry!

Do any of you remember that song from the 60s called The Unicorn Song!! it was sung by a folk group called The Irish Rovers and the single was out in 1968...  my dad bought the record as he was really into the group... I was aged six at the time... ooh I used to love that song so much!! :-)

I hope you are all having a good week... I'm really looking forward to the last episode of Broadchurch next week... I have a theory as to whodunnit!! and want to know the answer... but I won't say any more... no spoilers in case anyone is watching it on Catchup!!

Thank you for all your lovely comments... they are very much appreciated! :-)
I will catch up with you all very soon...
Take Care
Love and hugs

What a fabulous idea to pick the unicorn for your fantasy themed card Sue! For we usually think of witches, fairies and the likes of them! I've always loved unicorns, they're probably the most magical creatures around! Love how you coloured him, amazingly beautiful with the fine shades. Gorgeous card! Big hugs, Ira xox

I just love the way you coloured this unicorn sue its gorgeous and your flowers look fab to me - I've gone off mulberry flowers of late cos I can't be bothered with arranging them! As for the unicorn song is that the one with .. green aligators and long necked geese, humpy backed camels and chimpanzee!!- those words just came to me like a blast from the past and for some reason I'm now humming puff the magic dragon - very weird lol hugs Judith x
