Hello... it's the turn of Team B over at

  Age Related Sentiment

I've used good old Dilbert the Dragon again to make a Card for 2 Year Old Boy. I've kept things simple.... paper pieced and fussy cut him out....  layered up some digital papers.... added my own sentiments...

Clean and Simple!

Hi all,
it seems a while since I last posted and I've been really missing blogland!

It's been a hectic few weeks at home, but we survived the kitchen renovations. It took a bit longer than anticipated, but it's all finished now and we absolutely love it... more on that later... but first.....

Now this is long overdue.... but I have to say a HUGE Thank You! to my dear blogging friend Cathy... who very kindly passed onto me a prize that she had won... of a Craft Classes Online Course that she wasn't able to take up.

So a while back, I chose to do a CAS Course by Jeri Parks and would highly recommend it as it was awesome!! I learnt so much on it. I'm just sorry that I haven't had time to post more about it until now.  I have a file full of wonderful coursework with lots of inspiration and ideas. I can't wait to create more CAS cards...

I thought you might like to see some of the cards that I created during the course...
please let me know which is your favourite?

On the course I learnt a lot about Colour and Contrast, and Balance and Flow and lots more besides. CAS cards don't seem quite as daunting as before, as now I have something to work from, and am not sat looking at a white space. I still have a lot to learn... the most important thing that I learnt about CAS Cards is that they are NOT quick and easy! they take thought and planning to make them 'look' clean and simple. I'm hoping that you will see an improvement in my CAS Cards.
Thanks again Cathy! it was so kind of you to give me this wonderful gift!!!

Back again to my kitchen... as I know some of you wanted to see photos of it... so here goes...

This is when it was first gutted!! :-O

and this is it now!!!

We're so happy with how it turned out!! It's a very small kitchen, but it's amazing what a difference the new layout has made, and the new appliances are all awesome... the new levelled floor really took some getting used to though... after walking on quite a slope for 54 years!! it felt really weird Lol.

The builders and workmen were really great... they kept stress to a minimum for us... but it was still a bit much for my mum... she got a really bad chest infection after it... so I've had to be with her 24/7 for about ten days. My chest flared up also... so I've been on the tablets again... but think we're both on the mend now.

I'm really hoping to get back into crafting proper soon if mum stays well.
I have managed to make a card for Thursday MAWTT.  So will see you then....

P.s. Just noticed Poldark in my Sidebar... anyone know where he is? I thought he was supposed to be back for second series in April? !!!! he's late... gosh I bet we now have to wait until after the Olympics!!! :-(
