MAWTT - 'Stitch Up'

Good Morning... hope you are all well today.... I am feeling a lot better than I did last week. Thanks for all your good wishes.. I will be catching up with you all over the next few days. I can't believe it's Thursday again already... and so time for a new Challenge over at

and it's our lovely boss Hazel's turn to host with a fab theme of...

'Stitch Up'

So we want to see Stitching! Lots of scope for this challenge... you could stitch your Design Papers, use Faux Stitching or Sew something with Felt... it's up to you....really looking forward to seeing all your fab creations!

My intention was to sew several of these hearts but with being poorly I only got one of them finished! The sewing kit was a pressie from my daughter last xmas. I thought all the pieces would be cut out and ready to sew... but basically they just gave you a load of materials, buttons and some templates and said.... 'have fun' LOL!! It took me quite a while to do as my dexterity is not good.... but did most of it a few weeks ago while my daughter was away in Scotland.

The two fabrics that I used here frayed a lot... but they kind of give it a shabby chic look? that's my excuse anyway. I forgot to sew the hanging ribbon into the seam and so have tried to make it look pretty with the added button. Hope you like it!

We are sponsored this week by the fab Cupcake Cards & Crafts

For more details of the Challenge and Prize... hope you can hop on over to the MAWTT Blog where you will also find lots of lovely inspiration from my Teamies!!

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Allsorts - Challenge 178 - 'In Stitches' ends 2nd November 2012
Divas by Design  - Challenge 59 - 'Feeling Festive' ends 6th November 2012

Not long until the weekend and can you believe it is the Finale of Downton!!! I am gonna miss it so much... but think there is going to be a Christmas Special so we can look forward to that! ;-)
Can't believe how the weather has changed while I was ill... all the trees are shedding their leaves now and it's looking quite wintry. Just ordered my Calendars for 2013... it's the beginning of my Christmas Shopping!
Stay warm and snug!
Love and Hugs

Glad you are feeling better.
Not watched any of the Downton Abbey series yet but taped it all so we can OD on it Boxing Day and the day after as there will no doubt be nothing on over Christmas and my Daughter is home 7th December till Boxing Day early door so it will be something to cheer me up after she has gone back to Sydney.
