MAWTT - 'Girly Girly Prim and Proper'

Good Morning! Hope you are all well and Big Hugs to those who are not ... it's time for a brand new challenge over at

and this week the lovely Judith is our hostess and she has chosen the fab theme of

'Girly Girly but Prim and Proper'

so we want to see lots of girly creations but with the emphasis on 'prim and proper' remember it doesn't have to be a card as long as you follow the theme.... can't wait to see all your gorgeous entries Winking smile

I've chosen an image from Crafts and Me called 'Heart in my Hand Melody' and she really does look prim and proper... but isn't she a sweetie! The gorgeous paper is V & A Hanoverian Stack that my daughter bought a couple of years ago... it's so scrummy that I tend to just take it out and stroke it... LOL but thought the paper was perfect for this challenge and to go with the lovely Melody!!

The gorgeous Lace and Carnations are from Wild Orchid Crafts....the Handbag Charm and MeiFlower Pearls and little Gems on sentiment are from My Crafty Heart... Sentiment was freebie with magazine...

I've coloured Melody with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Grey Pencil... I've dusted the background with Memento 'Sahara' Ink....

We are sponsored this week by the wonderful Bunny Zoe Crafts....

For more details of the challenge and to see my Teamies gorgeous creations this week... hop on over to our MAWTT Blog !!

Hope you can join us for this girly challenge!

I would like to enter the following challenges:-

Wild Orchid Crafts - Challenge 59 - 'Autumn Colours' ends 30th September
Bearly-Mine - Challenge 53 - 'Fall Colours' ends 24th September 2012
SweetStamps - Challenge 83 - "Shades of Autumn" ends 24th September 2012

Blogger and the internet have driven me mad this week... and my printer has been playing up big time too... it keeps saying that it has a 'broken pipe' ??? what the heck is that all about... then it works normally for a while... and then yesterday it took 30 minutes to print out a page of digi images... then just as it got to the end it spat it out and ruined them! I was not a happy bunny! Sad smile LOL
Ah well... not long until the weekend... looking forward to Downton again!
Thanks for visiting... I really appreciate all your comments...
Love and Hugs

Another stunner Sue, she is gorgeous - very prim and propper. I just love your colour combination and fab papers.
Technology is OK when it works isn't it - my hubby is away on business for two weeks and every morning when I turn on my laptop my heart is in my mouth just praying that everything works OK!

She's so fifties! I really love the atmosphere of your beautiful card here Sue, just look at her wonderful colours, her eyes! And that neat little handbag, too cute! Oh, and about that broken pipe, I think it must have something to do with your wireless connection. Have you tried re-installing your printer? This will usually solve things quickly! Good luck my friend, big hugs, Ira xox

Hi Sue

A gorgeous card.

Love the cute image and all your embellishments.

Your printer sounds like it is giving you torture treatment.

I am no expert but when my printer is playing up my hubby "re-installs the drivers" .. .. but don't ask me how LOL!!!

Oh, this image makes me laugh. She does indeed look like a proper housewife straight out of the 50's! LOL Great colourmatch with the papers. Why don't ya' enter this card into the LLC challenge this month, or if you make something else using lace or a trim, there's still plenty of time left of this month.

Hugz,
Sandra

P.S. Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. I had an ear infection myself for the last 3 days; horrible pain, but at least now it's gone.
