Paris Fashion....

Hello... I hope you are all well... it's a bit dull here in Manchester UK but perfect weather for crafting... :-) so I thought I would do a 'Fashion' card for this month's theme over at Heck of a Challenge.... and so I had a search and found this fab 'flapper' image at Free Vintage Digital Stamps... isn't it sweet?

I made the papers on computer ... but looking at it now I think it's a little too 'busy' !! and this card has been such a pain to photograph... I think maybe my auto focus is very confused as to what to focus on and has just gone very cross-eyed!!! LOL I give up trying to get it any clearer... sick of the sight of photos of this card now!! do you have days like that?

I made the 'words' paper by typing some of the main Fashion Capital Cities on a graduated pink background with some little hearts inbetween... and the other paper I used some black Art Deco type shapes on pink background .... I layered up the papers and mounted the image with 3D foam pads and then added a Prima flower and some pearls...

So quite a quick card... but hope you like it.... I seem to be going through a 'pink' phase!!

I would like to enter the following Challenges:-

Lexi's Creations - 'Happy Birthday'
Paper Crafting Journey - 'Anything Goes'
Heck of a Challenge - 'Fashion'

I can't believe it's Wednesday already!! I am a day behind with the Bank Holiday...
I am tired today... not sure if it's the weather but my eyes are closing now... not good at 5pm!!! LOL hope I feel better after something to eat... but I think I will have an early night tonight!! ;-)
Hope you are all well ... Big Hugs to those who are not feeling good...
Love and hugs

Brilliant Sue, I love this and nope it's not too busy. Really clever making your own fashion house paper and I love the shaded pink. Beautiful image too. Like you I am so confused with the holiday Mon, then my hubby being on a weeks hol and Colin being on exam leave - I clean forgot about my MAWTT comments this week, oops. Hadn't done any till about an hour ago, but noticed just in time. Very bad though and not like me at all. Enjoy your night, Jx

I think you have had a brilliant idea for this challenge and I love the background papers, they go so very well, not too busy at all and I love the graduated shading of it.
I really don't know why they relate this type of image to Paris as I can remember my Grandma wearing coats and hats like that and she had never been anywhere near Paris lol.

This is awesome Sue. Love the background you have created. It looks super to me and doesn't sound like a quick card. It must have taken you ages to create that super background. Love the image and your layout.

Hope you are feeling better now after your early night.
