Happy Mother's Day!! .... in Blue....

My daughter asked me to make a card for her to give her gran for Mother's Day... she wanted it kept fairly CAS, in shades of Baby Blue and Flowers in the centre...

So I used papers and sentiment from Pink Petticoat.... and printed the dotted paper with sentiment and also added some Star Dust Stickles to the edge of circle..... then layered onto scalloped round nestie...

The Flower is Tim Holtz Mini Tattered Floral... I was originally going to put two flowers in the centre but it was too much and spoilt the line of the circle...

to finish I've added some heart nailheads from JosyRose and also a Silver heart charm... my daughter was really pleased with it and my mum loves it !! so everyone happy :-)

I would like to enter the following challenges:-

Papertake Weekly - 'Anything Goes'
Creative Inspirations - 'Happy Mother's Day'
Totally Gorjuss -  'For Mum'
Creative Craft Challenges2 - 'Mother's Day'
Dream Valley - 'Mother's Day'

Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday... it's sunshine today but there is a bitter wind so I'm staying in warm and snug...

I am having a very lazy day... eating some of my mother's day choccies!! might do a little bit of crafting and looking forward to Call the Midwife later... but it's the last one... what a shame... and I have only just got into it... and it's the last Mr Selfridge too!!  I hope they have got some new period dramas lined up for us... ;-))

Enjoy your Sunday!
Love and hugs

This is beautiful Sue, so soft and delicate, a perfect Mother's Day card.
We went to the coast today, had a lovely lunch and then a walk along the sea front - it was freezing, but nice. We rounded of the afternoon with a little browse around the shops in Lymington followed by tea and cream cakes in a lovely little tea room.
I hope you enjoyed your lazy day and enjoyed your TV programmes.

This is lovely Sue and I am sure your Mum loved it.

I have hell of a toothache today and I am trying to forget it. I have to have a root canal filling done but she can't do it until the 27th. I was fine until she disturbed it last Friday when she started to do what she thought was a small ordinary filling and then discovered as she drilled it was much worse. She just stuck a temporary filling in the hole that she had started.

What joy!!!
