MAWTT Challenge 155 - 'Make it Sentimental'

Good Morning! Hope you are all doing ok... Thank You for all your wonderful entries into our Birthday Challenge last week!! so many stunning creations and we really enjoyed looking at them all - don't forget to check and see if you were a winner!! Today it's time for a new challenge over at

This week it's the lovely Debs who is hosting our Challenge and she has chosen the fab theme of...

'Make it Sentimental'

So we want to see your creations with No Images!! and the SENTIMENT as Focal Point!! This challenge will run for 2 weeks.. so you have until 8pm BST Wednesday 18th July 2012

I have chosen to use a digital kit called 'Brown Paper Packages' by Karen Funk that I bought from Design House Digital...

The paper is 'White Winter' and I've also used some of the elements from the main kit... the branch with berries... the sprinkling of snow... and of course the sentiments!!

I think this was one of the quickest cards that I've ever made! but I really like it... I've added a Poinsettia from Wild Orchid Crafts... used a gem flower from stash for centre...

and that's it really... hope you like it...

We are sponsored this week by the wonderful Di's Digis
Please do pop on over to our main MAWTT Blog for more details of the challenge and to see my Teamies wonderful creations!!!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges:-

Totally Papercrafts - 'Use a Digital Image' ends 5th July 2012
52 Christmas Card Throwdown 'Anything Goes' ends 6th July 2012
Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge - 'Acrostic Christmas' ends 9th July 2012
(using M for Merry and R for Red)
Papertake Weekly - 'Anything Goes' ends 9th July 2012
Ladybug Crafts Ink - Challenge 64 - 'Christmas in July' ends 30th July 2012

I'm feeling pretty drained again due to yet another IBS flare up... so I'm going to try and rest for a couple of days and maybe read my book.... and No! I'm not reading 'that' book !!!... LOL but a factual one about Anne Boleyn!!!

Sick of all this rain... all the blooming Spiders in Manchester seem to be coming over to my place for shelter!! I was just lying in bed nearly asleep and saw something move out of the corner of my eye... the cheeky blighter was only on my pillow and it was as big as my hand (shudder...) I have to kill them or else I can't sleep... not knowing where they will go next... Ukkkk!!! No more Incy Wincy's pleeeeaase!!!!!

Not long until the weekend... Fingers and Toes crossed for Andy Murray!!! ;-))
Love and Hugs

Hi Sue Love your card I really like clean and simple Your sentiment really stands out. I used to hate spiders too but sons girlfriend has a pet tarantula and when they are away for more than a few days I have to feed it and make sure it has water, can't say I enjoy it but it has diminished my fear of them. Weather here is beautiful and I hope you are not affected by the flooding, fingers crossed for Andy Murray. hugs Meg

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!! I would have fainted at the sight of a hand-big spider on me pillow! How did u survive that??? Oh Lord, I will never visit you LOL! Next time you have to hunt that creature and put it into your looooooovely neighbour's letter box ;o)))) it might scare her to death...problem solved! no more ear plugs...well but I guess you have to do it when you have used them up, to honour the pennies spent on them LOL

But onto your card: it's wonderful and you have a xmas card already, woo hoo!
Huggles, Alessandra
