Warm Winter Wishes

Hello... I hope you are all doing ok today?... huge hugs to those who are unwell or going through a difficult time.

Here's another Christmas Card that I managed to squeeze in using a pre-coloured image from LOTV... doing a little bit each day seems to be the key to getting my Christmas Cards done this year.

This card looks nicer in real life... I couldn't get the light right for the photo and so the card looks a bit glum? ... I've been waiting patiently each day for brighter weather... but think it might be a while! maybe next March! Lol... so have given up and resorted to flash! but then had to tone it down a bit.

Sentiment: think it was a freebie with magazine?
Papers: Maja - It's Christmas Time
Die: Memory Box Open Stitched Rectangle
Die: Creative Expressions - Festive Collection - Classic Poinsettia
Stamp: Creative Expressions - Stamps to Die For - Elegant Poinsettias
Pearls: Mark Richards - 'White Glitter Domes'
Glitter: Star Dust Stickles
Heat Embossing: Wow - Metallic Gold Sparkle

I've used my new Sue Wilson Stamp and Die set for the Poinsettias. Thought I would use some nice sparkly gold powder for the heat embossing... love watching the gold bubble up against the chocolate card! :-)

Thanks for all your lovely comments on my Leaves/Trees Card... and don't forget you have until the 11th November to enter at MAWTT.

Are you looking forward to Downton? I am, but also I'm not, if you know what I mean! as it's the last one! :-(  what will I do without it. But at least we have the Christmas Day Special to look forward to! ;-)
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
Big hugs

OMG this is stunning Sue, the heat embossing is gorgeous. I LOL at your comment, re: buying stencils and never using them..for years I was obsessed with stencils and bought them and kept trying to use them, but the end result was rubbish. Fast forward to 2013 and some time off and YouTube.. Can't believe you were a typist!! I'm off to the post office later, so look out Cx

Another gorgeous creation Sue, LOTV images never fail to make a great card, love your papers, have found that last year and again this year the Christmas papers are rubbish, no nice ones at all, at least not in my local Sam Taylors and I hate getting papers pad on line as they are never as nice as they look.
Fabulous poinsettia.

Hi Sue

A really beautiful Christmas card .. .. very stylish with those luxurious looking backing papers.

I just wanted to say thank you for your lovely comment on my blog over the weekend .. .. my news seems so un-important in light of all the awful happenings that are dominating the news. All very scary don't you think!

Love Jules xx
