Embossed Christmas Baubles/Stars

Hello... I thought I'd show some of the Christmas Cards that I've been making recently. As you will see... I'm really into embossing at the moment. The star and bauble stamps were freebies on a magazine last year and so I bought the Spellbinders Dies to go with them. The cream and silver sentiments are from Hobbycraft. I've used lots of different papers, but most are from Maja Pads.

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last post btw... it's very encouraging to get such positive feedback on my Folk It painting :-))

Can't believe it's weekend again tomorrow! I'm hoping to do a bit of crafting and I've started watching the Christmas Films... think I might watch Santa Clause this year as not seen it for a long, long time. And looking forward to Strictly and Downton again of course!
Enjoy the weekend!
Love and hugs

Beautiful Christmas cards Sue..simple, but elegant..perfect for posting..love the dies and great freebies..don't you just love freebies that work?..I have to wait quite a long time before the magazines I want hits the shelves over here, but was thrilled to bits to get the Marianne Bauble die in a magazine.

Beautiful cards Sue, The embossing is really detailed and I love the traditional silver and gold. Maja papers go so well with the baubles. Hope you have been keeping better. Enjoying Downton, and have been watching some Christmas movies on Sky, Youngest usually watches several on DVD with me in December and eldest gets tickets for a smaller cinema in Aberdeen for Christmas Eve when they show an old Christmas Film. Take care Hugs Meg xx

Oh these are stunning Sue, gorgeous colours on all the cards and totally love the images.
Hey love your eye candy too.
Watched the scene again last night on Goggle Box, the reactions of the folk that are on there was brilliant.
Only got into Goggle Box last March, when at Centre Parks with Daughter, her and my Chris watch it, I do now but hate the language.
Hope you are OK, I am fine.

Hi Sue - I love your embossed christmas shapes - so pretty and make such lovely cards. I'm so sorry that I've been a very poor blog friend lately - what with going from one disaster and drama to the next - I seem to have lost the plot with blogging these past couple of months, hope you're having a good weekend - enjoy your lie in tomorrow!! hugs Judith xx

You're on a roll with those Christmas cards, Sue! This post is also very inspirational for how to make several cards using the same design ideas but with twists that make them look different, I suppose it's also an effective way of make several cards in less time. I'm not always in mood for coloring, I do love embossing, and cards don't need to have colored images to be beautiful and personal. And don't you just love Maja papers!, I do....

Yes I too felt so very sorry for Thomas BUT I think he will be ok as it looks like Mr Molesey will get a job at the school and if the other guy goes to help the pig farmer out then they will still need Thomas.
Still think Mary and Tom will end up together and think Matthews Mum will agree to her suitor.

It is going to be an all well that ends well production.

Just hope Mary can mellow to her sister Edith.
