My Time To Craft GDT - Silhouette Image

Hello... I hope you are all well today.... it's time for another challenge over at

I am Guest Designer and this week's theme is

'Silhouette Image'
(black image either stamped, printed or die cut)

I've used a Lavinia Stamp Set that was free with my Papercraft Essentials magazine last year.  I got my Ink Dusting Brushes out and made a mask for the moon.....

I've used Tim Holtz Inks - Faded Jeans and Wild Honey on the above card. Glitz Paper - Vintage Blue. I've used some Stickle Glitter on the fairy dust in both cards... but it looks really naff in the photos!! it looks better irl honestly!

On the above card...Tim Holtz Inks - Faded Jeans and Tattered Rose. Glitz Paper - Vintage Blue..... not sure why this card looks orange at the bottom... as in real life it's a beautiful pink! the camera is playing tricks again!

I really enjoyed getting inky... it's a long time since I've done anything like this!

Hope you can pop over to My Time To Craft and see the rest of the teamies wonderful creations!

Did you see the solar eclipse yesterday in UK? I watched it on TV with my mum as it was too cloudy to see anything here irl. They had filmed it from a plane and it looked really amazing. I keep wondering how people in bygone times must have felt when it happened though... before they knew about how the planets moved around each other etc... it must have been quite terrifying and if you were in a place that went totally dark... bet they thought the world was coming to an end!

Hope you all have a good weekend... enjoy the NEC Show if you are going. I've come down with yet another cold and so am staying in warm and snug and doing some crafting! :-)

Thanks for visiting my blog and for all your lovely comments!
Take Care
Love and Hugs

Two beautiful cards Sue, your silhouette image is gorgeous and I love your inked backgrounds.
It was cloudy here as well, 15 miles down the road at Stonehenge it was clear enough to see, never mind it was probably safer to watch it on the telly!
I hope you soon get rid of your cold.

Two such beautiful creations sweetie.
It was too cloudy here too to see the eclipse. Looked good on the tele though.
Had a good but tiring time at the NEC, but was pleased with my purchases.
Playing catch up on my work now. Lol!!! Apart from my DT work and commenting I now have an order for 5 cards. This customer really pushes my brain to the limit and they mustn't be large either or raised.
