MAWTT - Claire's Sketch

Hello... I hope you are all doing ok today...  it's the turn of Team B once again at

our lovely Claire is hosting this week and she has given us this fab sketch.

'Claire's Sketch'

You can rotate the Sketch if you wish....

I decided to make a Mother's Day Card with this lovely sketch. Paper and Sentiment are Papermania Botanicals. The die is Jasmine Frame by Memory Box... I've had it for years and this is the first time I've used it! but love it, so will use it again very soon! Pinwheel is by Papermania. Ribbon and Buttons are from Stash. I've put a Happy Mother's Day sentiment inside the card.

The adorable image was a freebie last year with Making Cards Magazine..... and it takes me right back to my childhood... as Mum used to take us on picnics like this down the meadows nearby.. I also think this dog looks a bit like the one we had back then... he was called Jock....

Here's a couple of photos of us down the meadows...

Me, Mum and Jock

Me, Mum and my Brother

I hope you can pop over to our main site at MAWTT and see the rest of the Team's gorgeous creations this week!!

and there is a fab prize this week - what a lovely birdcage die!

Well it's taken me a long while to get over this latest chest infection, but I am feeling a lot better now.... still quite tired but I am on the mend. Thanks for all your good wishes.

Can't believe we are nearly at end of January! The Blackbird woke me up Tuesday morning 4.30am singing... think he was considering building his nest for Spring... but bet he has put that on hold after today (Wednesday)... it's SO cold..... brrrr!!  glad I don't have to go out today!!

Off to get a mug of Hot Chocolate now... ;-)
Take Care
Love and hugs

It happens quite often that I need to leave my new goodies on my desk for some time before I use them, it's my way of getting ideas and inspiration. But how you managed to leave this beautiful frame die unused for a year I don't know. BUT, once you used it your sure made a beauty with it! This is a gorgeous vintage design. And it's so fun to see those photos of you as a child too...

Fabulous take on the sketch sweetie! Love the yellow roses and that image is totally adorable. Also love your beautiful family shots, my heart skipped a beat when I saw your mum though, for she sooooo reminds me of my own... And if you take into consideration that my mum absolutely loved yellow... phew... or is it the red wine that's making me emotional ;-) Lots of love and hugs, Ira xox
