Divas by Design - Anything Magnolia!

Hello!  hope everyone is well? if not then I'm sending you huge hugs and hope you feel better very soon ... it's Team A's turn over at

and we have a wonderful theme for you this week of....

'Anything Magnolia'

You might remember my Sherwood Edwin Card a couple of weeks ago? Well I decided to do a card with his girlfriend... and this is 'Lady Tilda'. I've used Maja 'Spring Basics' Papers... I wanted it to look like she was in a lovely Spring Garden... she is trying to tempt Edwin out of living in the Forest!! ;-))

Image: Magnolia - 'Lady Tilda'
Papers: Maja 'Spring Basics'
Die: Memory Box - 'Fuschia Sprig'
Die: Marianne D Creatables - 'Bird w/Ivy'
Flowers, Lace and Gems: from Stash

We are sponsored this week by the fabulous Magnolia-Licious!!

I hope you can pop on over to our main blog at Divas by Design and see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations!!! :-))

I've coloured Lady Tilda with Copics and Promarkers...
and added liquid pearls around the image...

Awww... look.... Lady Tilda has tempted Sherwood Edwin to come out of the forest for a stroll around her beautiful garden ... he has been struck by the arrow of love and has just proposed marriage to her!!! .... she's thinking about it...do you think she will say yes? then they can live happily ever after in Magnolia Castle!! :-))

Sorry folks...not sure what came over me there... I did a quiz the other day and it said I was 'Romantic'... Hmmm... not sure about that.... in my dreams perhaps!! Lol ;-)

Some good news! my daughter had her PhD interview last week and she found out afterwards that she's passed!! Yay!! We're SO proud of her and we had some Champagne to Celebrate! She will graduate next year, July 2015, so now I can start on making an Album for her... I didn't want to start making it before she'd passed in case I jinxed things!!
Ah well.. it's been a stormy week here in Manchester, UK... lots of ominous looking clouds, thunder, lightning.... when the sky turns black we have this flock of crows that keep coming on our rooftops... they make such a noise!! don't know why but they give me the creeps! but maybe I've just been watching too much Game of Thrones!! Lol
Hope you enjoy the rest of the week!
Love and hugs

What are you like? Tilda loves Edwin, Tilda loves Edwin! But more than that... I love your Edwin and Tilda! Brilliant colouring Sue, another really lovely card. Hope you're having a good week after your little crafty break. Haven't had much time for cards myself this week, been busy with me boys - mostly tidying up at their tails!!! Jx

Aw this is gorgeous , I love the colours and pretty layout. Ha ha - you are funny Sue I'm sure Tilda will tempt Edwin out of the forest ha ha - though I'm not a mad Tilda fan I have to say a bit like those crows I find the half faces a bit creepy!! (course I've still got a couple of tilda stamps - it would be rude not to lol) Not much card crafting done by me last week - I watched Game of Thrones series 2 and 3 back to back! - just need to start on 4 now - got lots of ironing done and late nights making some wedding stationary - glad its over so I can have some early nights lol hugs Judith x

This makes a great card set, one for her and one for him. Princess Tilda is so skillfully colored, and you've decorated the image so beautifully with pearls.
I'll be absent for the rest of this month, and If you're not already a subscriber of Cardmaking and Papercraft I recommend you to head over to check out my candy...
