MAWTT - I'm Dreamin' Of a White Christmas.....

Hello... I hope you are all doing ok today! it's Team B's turn over at

and our lovely boss Hazel is hosting a theme of

I'm Dreamin' Of a White Christmas....

So we want to see White on White Christmas Cards!

I used some new stash and decided to keep things very Clean and Simple. My first attempt went in the bin... I embossed the Card Blank and learned a valuable lesson that dry embossing weakens the card!! I still have a lot to learn!! I tried strengthening it with some card on the inside but it looked rubbish!! so had another go and embossed a panel for the front instead.. love how simple the design is and yet it looks so pretty! On my first attempt I glittered all the embossing and poinsettia... but think I prefer it kept pure like this and it shows off the embossing much better.

Embossing Folder:  Coutoure Creations - 'Bon Jour'
Die: Magnolia Doo Hickey - 'Poinsettia'
Die: Elizabeth Craft Designs - 'Merry Christmas'

I hope you can pop on over to our main site at MAWTT and see the rest of the Team's wonderful WOW creations ... they are all fab and sure to inspire you!

This is my first Christmas Card this year... I usually make one a month and so I'm behind... need to make four more now!! hopefully I can catch up over the Summer.

I'm looking forward to weekend and having a nice rest. I've had asthma every night this week and I'm really tired!! seeing my GP tomorrow about it... really hope I can sort it out for weekend and get some much needed sleep! :-))

Ah well, my Apple Mac weather says it's gonna rain here in Manchester, UK for the next few days... thunder and lightning on Sunday!! can't wait to see if it's correct!! Lol - so perfect weather for staying in snug and warm and crafting! ;-))
Take Care and I will catch up with you soon!
Love and hugs

This is a stunning card Sue, so elegant and brilliant design - you were so right to keep it 'pure'.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with asthma, there is nothing worse than not getting any sleep, I hope you get something sorted at the Doctors.
Have a lovely weekend.

Oh Sue I hope they get your Asthma in check nothing worse than struggling to breathe, especially with all the pollen going about just now. I love your card its so pretty.
I find that some embossing folders are worse for making the card weak! Think if they are really deeply embossed they seem to do it,
Love Hazel xx
