MAWTT - Sketch

Hello... I hope you are all well today... it's Thursday and the turn of Team B over at

Our lovely Red is hosting this week and she has given us this fab

'Sketch'

you can put the sentiment anywhere you wish but we must be able to see that you've used the basic design of the Sketch.

This card was so quick to make but I love how it came out! :-)

Flower: BoBunny 'Blossoms'
Paper and Sentiment: Kaisercraft 'Lady Rose'
Leaves: Martha Stewart Punch

Red chose one of her earliest cards to case and use as Sketch.... and asked if we would like to show some of our 'early' cards too.... so I thought why not go way back....... before I started my blog even!! I hope that I haven't shown these before? can't remember if I have or not!! apologies if so...

I started off Cardmaking about 2007 with Let's Make Cards magazine... and you got an exciting kit full of toppers, papers and lots of embellies!! The Easter card top left was a runner up in a competition... so they featured it in a group photo of the Top 50 in their magazine, and you could just about see it nestled in there amongst all the other cards. I was SO chuffed at the time, and my my family were too!!
The card with the ship is a very early one... my Mum loved the photo and so I made a card and had an idea to scan and print out the sails onto card and build it up to add dimension.... I didn't even know that I was doing decoupage back then!!! Lol

Hope you liked my little trip down Memory Lane!! ;-))

Please do hop on over to our main site at MAWTT and see the rest of the Team's wonderful creations and you can also see some of their earlier work on the individual blogs too !!

Ah well... I'm gonna hopefully catch up with some crafting today and tomorrow... I'm SO slow at creating at the moment!!! in fact I am slow at everything! Lol.... hope I speed up soon! Thank you for all your lovely comments! :-))
Take Care
Love and hugs

Sorry for my late visit, I'm away on holiday and just wanted to check in for a quick visit. Your new card is classy, and I really like the textured paper you've used for this card, it really looks beautiful!
So fun to see some of your first cards too. It's so inspiring to see how a person's style evolves, with the inspiration we get from others and new tools coming to our collections.
