'Let's Hear it For the Boys'
I've kept things simple for this classic male card... using a pre-coloured topper from LOTV.

Black Mirri Card - Handy Hippo
This really was an easy card to make as the image and sentiment were pre-printed, so just a case of mounting everything on black mirri card. I love the effect of the warm red paper... which is actually Christmas paper but think I have got away with it on this Birthday Card...it has little leaves and berries... but they aren't holly so could be used any time of year! :-))

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last card... I seem to be really enjoying doing vintage cards at the moment. I'm also feeling inspired to make some Spring themed cards... so hopefully I will find some time to squeeze them in.... we have had lots of lovely sunshine here in Manchester UK, which has been nice! it really makes you feel better in yourself.

I too love using Christmas papers for non Christmas designs, mostly due to the wonderful red color of these papers! This card is adorable, it's clean and this card doesn't need any embellishments! The cute image and lovely red DP look great together!
