MAWTT - Card for a Female

Hello... I hope you are all well today... it's Thursday and the turn of Team B over at

and our lovely boss Hazel is hosting a theme of

'Card for a Female'

I'm looking forward to seeing lots of pretty girly cards! :-)

I found this very sweet LOTV image that I had coloured SO long ago, but it went perfectly with some freebie paper that I had. I thought it would be nice to keep this card very simple and so I've just added a double bow and some pretty pink nailheads. I've left off a sentiment but printed 'Just For You' inside, so it could be used for quite a few different occasions.

Image: LOTV - 'Gift Wrapped'
Papers: Freebie with magazine
Ribbon: MeiFlower
Nailheads: JosyRose

I hope you can hop on over to our main site at MAWTT and see the rest of the Team's gorgeous girly creations this week... lots of inspiration for you!!

I have to apologise for being a bad blogger again... Thank you for all your good wishes for my mum... she has got trouble with a disc in her neck and referred pain down her arm. It's been very painful, but fingers crossed it is getting a little bit better now as long as she is careful and doesn't do too much. I have got a bad dose of bronchitis and not feeling great but the doctor has given me some antibiotics and steroids so hopefully it will start to clear up in a few days.
So I'm resting at the moment.... have been getting back into my colouring again and enjoying it for the first time in months... Oh and I've been ordering lots of crafting stuff online... think I might have a slight shopping addiction!! Lol
Not long until the weekend... and can't wait to see Call the Midwife and Mr Selfridge again!! ;-))
Thank you for all your lovely comments... I really do appreciate them
Take Care
Love and hugs

Fantastic card Sue the colours are so feminine and your stamp beautifully coloured. The bow is perfect as a finishing touch. I really like the idea of putting a universal greeting inside quite often you don't make a card for a specific occasion or person.

Iv'e been bad as well, I bought loads and loads of Spellbinder dies from a local buy/sell site but reckon I got them for about 1/3 of the new price. This lady doesn't blog but must have thousands of dies and I'm not exaggerating she was better stocked than my nearest craft shop.

Hope you both feel better soon take care
hugs Meg

Big hugs my friend, Laurie xx
