Christmas Heart

Hello... I hope you are all well. It seems an awful long time since I posted anything other than DT Creations ... so thought I would share this Christmas Decoration that I made. It took me a couple of weeks just adding bits here and there. The wooden heart was a freebie with one of my magazines.

I painted it with White Acrylic Paint and it needed a couple of coats each side before it looked good. Then just added embellishments.... some roses and berries, jingle bells and pearls.... some sparkly silver twine to hang... quite a simple design but it looks very pretty hung up on my door :-))

Well my weekend didn't start off too well... as I had to wear a 48 hour heart monitor and I got nasty allergy to the electrode stickers. Last night was awful... I was itching so much that I had chills with it ... took some antihistamine and it helped a little... but I was counting the time down until I could take the blooming things off at noon today!! I was SO glad to get them off and have a wash! I did ask the nurse for some hypo allergenic patches but she said these were all she had!! :-(

Anyway, I'm feeling a lot better now. Mum and I had a nice evening meal and enjoyed watching Strictly... although I'm really dreading the dance offs from now on - it's getting such a close contest!!

Off to have my last cup of tea before bed... and I might just squeeze in another of Mr Kipling's Winter Whirls... have you tried them yet? they are like a cross between a Viennese Whirl and a Mince Pie... Ooh they are very naughty... but exceedingly NICE !!!! Lol
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday!
Love and Hugs

Well Sue, Mr Kippling does make exceedingly good cakes so what did you expect!

Love your beautifully decorated heart, very pretty indeed. Hope your own one is sitting pretty too and behaved itself when being monitored - unlike your skin! Glad you are feeling better now that it's off. Off to bed now, night, Jx

Fantastic decoration Sue bet it looks great against the door. Hope you are feeling better now they should have different patches lots of people are allergic to some adhesives.

Sorry I haven't visited for a while visitors, then I stupidly decided to make my younger son a Dr Who style scarf as a surprise for xmas (both sons HUGE Dr Who fans )I found a copy of the original scarf on line almost 1600 rows and 12ft long I think it will take about 60 hrs and I can only do it whilst he's at school Take care Hugs Meg
