Moving Along With The Times... DT Call

Hello everyone.... I hope you all had a lovely weekend...

I'm here with a quick reminder that....

MAWTT is back on 3rd October!!!! Yay!!!

and we are having a DT Call !!
so if you would like to find out more about joining our very friendly team then click HERE

I'm really looking forward to working with the lovely girls again! :-)

Thank you for all your kind comments and best wishes for my dad... he has got over his pneumonia now and is stable and more comfortable... he is still in hospital and has a lot of things wrong still...and the doctors have said he needs to go into nursing/care long term. So we're hoping to get him settled somewhere in the next few weeks... it feels really weird that he won't be coming home though... I'm sure we will adjust but it just takes a bit of time to get your head around it all...

As soon as things settle down a bit, I want to try and get back into my crafting proper again... I just hope that I can get motivated again!!

I have treated myself to...

I've wanted one for a while and hopefully it will make my crafting much easier... the Big Shot was getting harder and harder for me to use and was hurting my spine!!!  so I'm looking forward to being able to use more dies again now!

Did you see Strictly? I watched it but had to mute the sound for first half hour as my nerves were not up to the noise! LOL I must be getting old !! but at least the lineup and pairings look quite good this year... looking forward to seeing how they all shape up once they start dancing properly... I will be back in a few days with a card for Divas! ;-)
Take Care and I will catch up with you all soon
Love and hugs

Hi Sue, I'm so pleased to read that your Dad is more comfortable, I hope you manage to find a suitable nursing home for him. Like you say it will take some time to get used to him not being at home but it is nice to know he will be getting the care he needs - every time I go to visit my Dad I always come away knowing he is in the best place and is being cared for much better than we could manage at home.
Wow! I can't wait to see what you create with your new eBosser, have fun.
Take care.

Hi Sue, glad to hear your Dad is a bit better, I got an eBosser for christmas and I love it, but I do find the plate stack can be a bit heavy but it is much easier to use.

Just a quick visit before bed. So sorry I'm not visiting like I should, I hate not keeping in touch. Really chuffed MAWTT is restarting too and can't wait for ur reports on the embosser, I was tempted last Christmas but was apprehensive after the mixed reports it got. Will eagerly await your reports. Right, signing off now, big yawn. Night, Jx

Hi Sweetie, so glad Dad is improving and I hope you find somewhere nice for him. He will be well looked after I am sure. I have the e-Bosser and as Kevin has already said the sandwich is quite heavy but the cutting is easier. I find myself looking out of the window as it cuts.

Hugs

Hi Sue

I am sure you will get motivated again .. .. but at the moment you have so much on your mind that it probably doesn't seem like you will.

Pleased to hear your Dad is doing better. It will be hard to accept him not coming home .. .. but at least he will be going to a home that is geared up to care for him.

Lucky you having the Ebosser. Hopefully that will really improve things for you.

Take care.

Love Jules xx

So glad to hear your dad is more stable now and yes, of course it's very confusing and strange that he won't be coming home again, but as long he's well looked after, we only want the best for our parents, don't we? Good for you to buy that ebosser, hope this will be much easier for you to use sweetie! Lots of love, Ira xox
