This week it's the lovely Claire who is hostess for her very first Challenge and she has chosen the fab theme of ....
'Summer Sunshine'
I have to admit that I struggled with this!!! It was like midwinter when I settled down to make this card!! and my mojo had completely disappeared. I think I had forgotten what Summer actually looked like because I started off making a card that had daffodils on it !!! So I had a rethink and remembered this gorgeous image that I bought a couple of months ago from Mo Manning. It's called 'Lacie with Ice Cream' and I think this really does capture 'Summer'!!!
The Papers are from Design House Digital and are a Set called 'A Fresh Start' by Karen Funk and they are free!!! I really like them - they are fresh and very Summery!! The sentiment was made on computer and I have added Stickles. I thought I'd give Lacie some sunshine....
The Prima flower is from Bunny Zoes. The gorgeous pearls are Melissa Frances Trinkets & Baubles from My Crafty Heart
