MAWTT Challenge 137 - Lots of Layers

Good Morning! Can you believe it's Thursday again already? which means of course, a new challenge over at

Moving Along With The Times

and our lovely Sandra is hostess this week for her very first Challenge. And what a fab theme she has chosen....
'Lots of Layers'

So we want to see lots of layering up! Layer up your mounts, decoupage etc. It doesn't have to be a card, as long as your creation follows the theme and has lots of layers!!

The gorgeous image is "Little Elf Finn" by Mo Manning. Isn't he adorable? I have coloured with Copics and paper-pieced using the papers. I thought it would be fun to make his little outfit and the bauble match the DP's. All his fur trims are glittered with Ultra Fine Glitter 'Candy Floss'. The gorgeous papers are from a Nitwits Kit called "Woodland Wishes." All the embellies that I've used are elements of the kit, except for the pink flower which was done with a Nellie Snellen punch and the little pink Hero Arts Gemstones in the corners of the image which are from My Crafty Heart

I tried to get a decent photo that showed off the glittery fur trims but it just wasn't happening.... !!

We are sponsored this week by Crimson Cloud.

Crimson Cloud is a Mother and Daughter venture - a way to indulge our joint passion for cardmaking and crafting. We only sell products we have tried , tested and loved using. We have developed our own exclusive range of Die-cuts Digital stamps SVG files and "make your own Card Kits" which reflect our styles of cardmaking and hopefully yours too!

They are offering a very generous prize of 3 Packs of Die-Cuts from their site (Winner's Choice)!!

I hope you can hop on over to MAWTT for more details of the Challenge and to see my teamies wonderful creations!! They are all gorgeous!!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges:-

Winter Wonderland - 'A Christmas Card' ends 23rd February 2012
Allsorts - Challenge 142 - 'Anything Goes' ends 24th February 2012
