Hello... I hope you are doing ok today... Big hugs to those who are unwell or need some TLC.
It's Saturday and time for another of my GDT challenges over at

I know he looks like a Birthday Bunny! but thought I could get away with him as an Easter Bunny too... don't know about you but I have cupcakes at Easter!! ok not with candles! Lol. He just seemed right with the paper and cheery colours that I wanted to use.

MAWTT - In the Wild

Hello... I hope you are all doing ok today...  it's the turn of Team B once again at

our lovely Hazel L is hosting this week and she has given us a fab theme of...

'In the Wild'

A very simple card for this challenge... I've used a lovely Clearly Besotted Stamp Set which was Free Gift with Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine recently. I printed onto smooth Watercolour Paper and painted it with Watercolours. I love Fuschias... always used to imagine they were fairies when I was a child. And apparently these fuschias do grow wild in some parts of Scotland and Ireland!

Stamp Set: Clearly Besotted
Colouring Medium: Watercolour Paints

I hope you can pop over to our main site at MAWTT and see the rest of the Team's wild and wonderful creations this week!!

Thanks for all your lovely comments, I really do appreciate you taking the time to visit my blog!

My Time To Craft GDT - Silhouette Image

Hello... I hope you are all well today.... it's time for another challenge over at

I am Guest Designer and this week's theme is

'Silhouette Image'
(black image either stamped, printed or die cut)

I've used a Lavinia Stamp Set that was free with my Papercraft Essentials magazine last year.  I got my Ink Dusting Brushes out and made a mask for the moon.....

I've used Tim Holtz Inks - Faded Jeans and Wild Honey on the above card. Glitz Paper - Vintage Blue. I've used some Stickle Glitter on the fairy dust in both cards... but it looks really naff in the photos!! it looks better irl honestly!

On the above card...Tim Holtz Inks - Faded Jeans and Tattered Rose. Glitz Paper - Vintage Blue..... not sure why this card looks orange at the bottom... as in real life it's a beautiful pink! the camera is playing tricks again!

I really enjoyed getting inky... it's a long time since I've done anything like this!

Hope you can pop over to My Time To Craft and see the rest of the teamies wonderful creations!

Did you see the solar eclipse yesterday in UK? I watched it on TV with my mum as it was too cloudy to see anything here irl. They had filmed it from a plane and it looked really amazing. I keep wondering how people in bygone times must have felt when it happened though... before they knew about how the planets moved around each other etc... it must have been quite terrifying and if you were in a place that went totally dark... bet they thought the world was coming to an end!

Hope you all have a good weekend... enjoy the NEC Show if you are going. I've come down with yet another cold and so am staying in warm and snug and doing some crafting! :-)

Thanks for visiting my blog and for all your lovely comments!

My Time To Craft - Special Lady/Mother's Day

Hello... I hope you are all well today. It's Saturday and time for another of my GDT challenges over at

and this week's theme is

'Special Lady/Mother's Day'

I've already made a Mother's Day card for my Mum but this is an extra gift to brighten up her windowsill... I bought the lovely Chipboard Window Shutter from Wild Orchid Crafts and to be honest at first I wondered what to do with it? but then an idea formed for a 3D window box. I've painted the shutters with Pearl Acrylic Paint. I had to do lots of measuring on this creation as everything had to fit around the shutters. I really enjoyed making it though, as it's nice to make something a bit different every once in a while.

I first made a square of 18cm x 18cm with stand up base, out of some strong leftover cardboard from new Calendar. Then decorated the front with some green card and brick paper. I found a photograph of a window and sized it to match the shutters. Then made the 3D window box using card printed with Rasperry Road Christmas Thyme Paper which has a crackled paint effect. I decorated the window box with some adhesive pearl strips. Then put a rectangle of Polystyrene in the bottom of the window box... and arranged the tulip stems into it and then poured some glue around the stems to secure.

The Stand

Quite pleased with the design because it folds fairly flat and fits in an 8 inch square box... and you can take it out again and again as is quite sturdy.

Tulips and Roses: Wild Orchid Crafts
Trailing Leaf Border Die: Memory Box - Delicate Vine
Adhesive Pearls from Stash.

Hope you can pop over to My Time To Craft and see the rest of the teamies wonderful creations!

I would like to wish you all a happy and relaxing weekend. I've got lots of TV to catch up with and hopefully a bit of crafting too! Mum and I are going to have a nice meal at home tonight. Then Sunday evening my daughter will be home for Mother's Day cards and pressies! :-)

I watched the first of The Big Painting Challenge last night and really loved it! SO interesting seeing all the different styles of painting and the different mediums. I also loved Poldark - Ross is very easy on the eye isn't he... I can feel some new eye candy coming on.... Lol

Thanks for all your lovely comments and for visiting my blog... I really do appreciate it.
Take Care and enjoy the weekend!

My Time To Craft GDT - Zentangle

Hello!!! some happy news today! my lovely blogging friend Shell has asked me to GDT over at

I was thrilled when I saw this week's theme of Zentangle as I had a go a few weeks ago and love it... it's very relaxing and very addictive! I think I've stuck to the rules of Zentangle with this image... if not... then huge apologies!

"Zentangle'
(part or all of your image/die cut)

I've Zentangled using a 0.1 UniPin Fine Liner Pen

I think this would be a nice design for a quick note card or even for invitation... maybe to baby shower or child's birthday party. It doesn't take much longer than colouring once you get into the flow.

Hope you can pop over to My Time To Craft and see the rest of the Team's wonderful creations!

Sorry I was missing from Blogland for a while... life was throwing all sorts at me... another chest infection, IBS flare-up, and tooth trouble. I hadn't been to the dentist since my dad died as I've been having panic attacks. I finally plucked up the courage and made an appointment for a check up and three days before it... half my tooth fell out while eating a Kit Kat!! Managed to get it filled (filling from hell) but it still doesn't feel right and so I might have to go back... he said it might need extracting. I've also got four more fillings to go. Anyone would think I hadn't been to dentist for 14 years, not 14 months!! I'm SO glad my daughter hasn't inherited my teeth!! and my Dolly Mixtures have all gone in the bin!!! Lol

Anyway, feeling a lot better now and looking forward to this weekend as my daughter is home... we have Game of Thrones Season 4 to watch... and I've not seen it yet... so really looking forward to it! :-))

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
