MAWTT - Claire's Sketch

Hello... I hope you are all doing ok today...  it's the turn of Team B once again at

Moving Along With the Times

our lovely Claire is hosting this week and she has given us this fab sketch.

I decided to make a Mother's Day Card with this lovely sketch. Paper and Sentiment are Papermania Botanicals. The die is Jasmine Frame by Memory Box... I've had it for years and this is the first time I've used it! but love it, so will use it again very soon! Pinwheel is by Papermania. Ribbon and Buttons are from Stash. I've put a Happy Mother's Day sentiment inside the card.

The adorable image was a freebie last year with Making Cards Magazine..... and it takes me right back to my childhood... as Mum used to take us on picnics like this down the meadows nearby.. I also think this dog looks a bit like the one we had back then... he was called Jock....

Well it's taken me a long while to get over this latest chest infection, but I am feeling a lot better now.... still quite tired but I am on the mend. Thanks for all your good wishes.

Can't believe we are nearly at end of January! The Blackbird woke me up Tuesday morning 4.30am singing... think he was considering building his nest for Spring... but bet he has put that on hold after today (Wednesday)... it's SO cold..... brrrr!!  glad I don't have to go out today!!

Off to get a mug of Hot Chocolate now... ;-)

Sorry I am not around much at the moment.... I'm still ill with chest infection... can't tell you how sick I am of having these infections.... but trying not to let it get me too down. I've done a few decoupage kits which are great if you're not feeling well. I've also been reading and watching some TV on my laptop.

MAWTT - Dies or Punches

Hello... it's Thursday and the turn of Team B once again at

Moving Along With the Times

our lovely Jessie is hosting this week and she has given us a fab theme of

'Dies and Punches'

We would like you to use either a die or punch, or both, as a central feature of your creation.

I've used a Die Cut Spellbinders Heart (which I've embossed) as my central feature... and I've also used a Martha Stewart Heart Edge Punch for the borders. The gorgeous paper is Papermania Botanicals and was a Christmas gift from my daughter. Heart Doily, Paper Bow and Gems to finish off.

I think I will keep this and give it to my daughter for Valentine's Day as it's her style of card.

Sorry I am not around much at the moment. My bronchitis has flared up yet again and my mum still isn't too good and so crafting has had to take a back seat. I'm hoping things will improve soon. Roll on Spring! I don't like it very hot... but I do like it a bit warmer than it is now!! Lol

 Hello and Happy New Year! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I hope that 2015 brings you all Health and Happiness. And lots of good creative mojo of course! :-)

This is a very quick card for male that I made the other day. My darling daughter gave me a Forever Friends Kit for Christmas and this is a card using a decoupaged bear. Sorry about the photo... I've not had any time during the day and so had to use flash this evening.

I've not had much time for Crafting as been looking after my Mum. She pulled a muscle in her back just after Christmas and has been laid up with it. I think it's getting a bit better now. She just has to be really careful that she doesn't do too much!!

We did have a lovely Christmas though. My daughter totally spoilt Mum and I, and cooked us lovely meals every day! I had a very relaxing holiday and got some lovely pressies... including some fab crafting goodies which I'm looking forward to using!
