One of our fab Sponsors is Hobby House  and so I've used one of their gorgeous Elisabeth Bell Toppers, and some of their pretty Patterned Cards for my creation. I made this special card for my good friend Lynn... it was her Birthday a couple of weeks back and so it was lovely to have this theme as inspiration for her card. I also got to try out my new Joy Crafts 'Banners' Die! thank you Laurie.. I really love it! :-)

I'm really disappointed with the flower in these photos... it has come out really peachy... but in real life it is a lovely dusky pink that matches the pink in the rest of the card... Grrr!! and they say the camera never lies!!!

Divas by Design - Your Favourite Stamp

Hello.... hope you are all doing ok today. Sadly this is my last challenge with Divas. I've not been feeling too well recently so I've decided to cut down on my DT work. Nothing serious, I'm just feeling very tired and keep picking up infections one after the other. So think I need to make some changes to my lifestyle.
I will miss my Divas ... thank you Rebekah and the girls for having me on your wonderful Team... I've loved working with you all !!

'Use Your Favourite Stamp'

Wow! it's really hard to pick a favourite stamp isn't it!! I have so many favourites... but decided to go with one that I use often... this adorable Nellie Snellen: 'Sweet Eline's - Flower'. So many reasons why I love this image... it's delicate and pretty and can look very different depending on how you colour it. It's also quick to colour if you are in a hurry. Also think it can be used for almost any occasion apart from male cards! and I have used it on Get Well Cards, Birthday Cards, Thinking of You Cards... so that is why it is a big favourite of mine.

Thanks for all your lovely comments and get well wishes. My horrid cold is finally getting a bit better... at least I can sleep now... and I've got my appetite back. My mum has been very ill with it too... but thankfully she is now on the mend too.
Went to a friend's house at weekend for Pizza night... so that cheered me up.
Mr Blogger is still playing up big time... think he must have heatstroke!! some very weird things happening with comment boxes!!

I was really chuffed when this theme came up..... I knew right away this image would be perfect! My lovely blogging friend Laurie bought me this stamp ages ago... and I've never got around to using it until now! it's such a fab image!!!

 I have to say I was smiling away to myself as I coloured it!! I was also wondering which one is me! I think probably the one second from right as she is having a good old natter by the looks of it...  and my hair goes a bit very wild with the sea air... so I have to wear a bandana!! but which one would you be? Lol

 I've coloured the image with Copics and used Star Dust Stickles on the drinks to make them look fizzy!

I'm sorry I haven't been to visit many of your blogs this last week. I have a flu-type bug and I'm feeling totally pooped! that's putting it politely!! Lol all the family have had it - thought we weren't supposed to get viruses like this in Summer!??  Thankfully this post was all done in draft weeks ago! :-)

I've been having a lot of trouble with Mr Blogger in past few days.... lots of error messages when I'm posting and the commenting boxes taking forever to load every time... hopefully it will improve in few days.

I can't believe how time is flying by... when does Wimbledon begin? must be soon. I'm not keen on football, so looking forward to the tennis!

Awww... look.... Lady Tilda has tempted Sherwood Edwin to come out of the forest for a stroll around her beautiful garden ... he has been struck by the arrow of love and has just proposed marriage to her!!! .... she's thinking about it...do you think she will say yes? then they can live happily ever after in Magnolia Castle!! :-))

Sorry folks...not sure what came over me there... I did a quiz the other day and it said I was 'Romantic'... Hmmm... not sure about that.... in my dreams perhaps!! Lol ;-)

Some good news! my daughter had her PhD interview last week and she found out afterwards that she's passed!! Yay!! We're SO proud of her and we had some Champagne to Celebrate! She will graduate next year, July 2015, so now I can start on making an Album for her... I didn't want to start making it before she'd passed in case I jinxed things!!
Ah well.. it's been a stormy week here in Manchester, UK... lots of ominous looking clouds, thunder, lightning.... when the sky turns black we have this flock of crows that keep coming on our rooftops... they make such a noise!! don't know why but they give me the creeps! but maybe I've just been watching too much Game of Thrones!! Lol
