I had a lovely surprise this evening - I was sent a Blog Award by new friend Laurie.
Thanks Laurie! - I am pleased to accept it - very honoured in fact! It is hard getting started and I'll never forget those first posts and what seemed like a long and lonely wait for a comment or follower ... so I really am grateful when folks take the time to comment and visit my website. I know you've only recently started your blog Laurie, but your cards are fantastic and I love that they are all so different - variety is the spice of life after all! If you haven't visited already, do pop over to Laurie's at DesignerDiva and take a peek, her cards are amazing!
Here are the conditions for the 'Love Blog' Award.
You have been TAGGED and want to participate?
Create a post where you post the 'LOVE BLOG' image.
You should also blog the person's link that gave you the award and inform her/him that you accept the award.

Hi Sue, you are funny - I loved the bit about 'thought I was at the oscars'!!!! I hope we get to meet one day at some craft fair. I picked up 3 new followers for getting this award I hope it helps you, its so hard, how do you get people to look at your blog!!!! I have to just tell you, the fire and rocket on my spaceboy card is not coloured in its printed on the paper, shame really I'd have loved to have taken teh credit! LOL x Laurie x
Ah Thanks Sue

Hi Laurie,
Aww you didn't colour the rocket fire! LOL Still I will definitely make a note of those colours - they look really effective.
I wish I could get out to Craft Fairs, it would be lovely to meet people, but I have DDD (degenerative disc disease), arthritis and severe pain. The last time I went to one was about 12 years ago when I wasn't so bad. I do remember it was very crowded and no seats!
Still, that is the beauty of the internet. I try to look on the bright side, not dwell on the pain and think positive. Crafting is my escape! I have to get all my craft tools materials and get in comfy position. I have actually had bad flare-up from colouring !!!! I have to remember and make sure I am in good position so that I don't stretch or strain.
Gonna finish off that Valentine's Card now!
Hugs

Hi Laney,
You're welcome!
I'm working on a Valentine's Card!!! It started off for a man, but it's got pink, ribbons and a frilly heart!!! So I am making a girlie one now. I might give it to my daughter. She is working hard on her PHD, bless.
My youngest daughter has her birthday on Valentines Day so I'd better get a move on too!!
hugs
laney
