It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas ...

I have come down with yet another cold and chest infection. I can't believe how many I have had this winter but I know there are a lot of other people who are the same.

Anyway, I really felt like doing a few old fashioned, Victorian style Christmas cards and was pleased to see that this week's  Wild Orchid Challenge is 'An Old Fashioned Christmas'.

I love decoupage but thought I would have a go at doing some pyramage as I haven't tried it before. I wanted some victorian style images, so went onto the Printable Heaven and found a selection of Christmas Cosy and Christmas Cute Sets which I bought and downloaded.

Strangely I came across the "Santa Lady" image on another website and really liked it, and so was delighted when it turned up as was one of the 'Cosy Set' that I downloaded on Printable Heaven.  The main background paper is from that set also.

The other deep red pattern on tag and frame/border is from Papermania "A Christmas Carol" set which are great papers for vintage cards.

The pearlised red card and polka dot ribbon are from Handy Hippo. And finally some 'Heart Strings' Card Candy.
